UCT retains top position in Africa
The University of Cape Town (UCT) remains the top university on the continent in this year’s World University Rankings published by Times Higher Education (THE) on Wednesday, 27 September.
Registrar Emeritus Hugh Amoore has a long relationship with the University of Cape Town, since 1974. He retired in 2015, but remains actively involved with higher education activities, and serves on a number of committees.
David Ansara has leadership experience in both the private and non-profit sectors, having worked for a variety of think tanks, consultancies, and trade associations. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Free Market Foundation (FMF), a classical liberal think tank headquartered in Johannesburg.
Oludayo Awe is an entrepreneur in the tech space, with experience in sitting on boards for both for-profit and not-for-profit initiatives.
