The University of Cape Town (UCT) remains the top university on the continent in this year’s World University Rankings published by Times Higher Education (THE) on Wednesday, 27 September.
Global rankings: UCT rises in research ranking
UCT has been ranked 116th globally by the US News Best Global Universities Rankings, up nine places.
QS rankings place four UCT subjects in the top 100
UCT is ranked 15th in the world for Development Studies and is among the top 100 institutions for a further three subjects. This is according to the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings by Subject 2024, released on 10 April.
